=/ I'm not 100% surem but this probably is what happened. But it's not in my iventory which leads me to believe I must have discarded it like an idiot. I just read on the site that to fix this you had to put the Shipment Paper back in and then read it and take it out to advance to the next quest. So now I'm stuck with a quest that can never be completed and can never become Thane.Īny help would be greatly appreciated. I checked to see if I already had the note I'm meant to find, but I didn't. There was a quest marker pointing above the satchel but nothing was in it. Well, I'd already completed some of it so I want to the Riften Warehouse and searched that guy's satchel to find that it was empty. So I thought to myself 'Hey, how about I try and comeplete the original Skooma Trade Quest (or whatever it's called) to try to become Thane that way. Maven is the Jarl for me so I went to her to purchase a house and only found out about the glitch well after I bought the house and done other quests etc. I want to become Thane of Riften and I'm already well aware of the glitch that if you go into your house before speaking to the Jarl about becoming Thane, you no longer have the option of becoming Thane.
